Massage Australia works to uphold high standards of ethical and professional practice. Our members are required to abide by the Massage Australia Code of Conduct, which prescribes a certain standard of conduct required by all members.
If you have complaint about the conduct of a member, please register your complaint in writing to Massage Australia by completing the Complaints Submission Form. Massage Australia has a disciplinary committee that is responsible for the review of all complaints made against its members of the organisation. Upon review of the complaint, the committee will make a recommendation or refer it to another authority if required.
The Massage Australia disciplinary committee assesses all formal complaints. Any issues that may arise outside the responsibility of the organisation (Massage Australia), is then referred to the appropriate authorities for investigation. For example, allegations of sexual misconduct.
